Hand enamel on silver w/ glass turquoise glass scarab. The colors are brilliant turq. blue & royal blue & lime green. This theme became fashionable as a result of the rising interest in Egyptology after 1870. Has hallmarks, maker unknown.

Shaded carnelian cabochon set in brass & depicting a sailing ship (double masted), at sea, heading towards a fortification in the hills.

Cast floral spray w/ carved scarabs in semi precious agates (green, blue & burgundy); excellent condition.

Mother bird w/ baby bird both have carved scarab bodies; semi precious carnelian agates.

Egyptian motif bezel set glass on a copper free form. The glass is black hieroglyphs on a red background; in relief Excellent condition.

Baroque feeling carnelian & chrysophrase green agates set in a circle.

Egyptian motif lapel pin w/ red & blue & green enamel. There is damage to the enamel on the scarab. This does not interfere w/ the feeling of the piece since the flowers are in perfect condition. Can be restored.
